Research Results Analysis
In some cases, an organization may have research results from a previous or external study, and the analysis may be limited, or perhaps it was focused on different objectives or findings. If a clear description of the research methodology and the raw data are available, it may be possible to create additional analysis including summary tables, graphs, and even statistical measures. Graphs, in particular can be helpful in conveying a lot of information efficiently. However, different graphs, whether basic or complex, convey different findings. It is very important to first identify the objectives of the research and the findings of interest. These will dictate the optimal analytic methods and tools, including graphs, for depicting the results.
